Tavano of Opelika, AL; his son Salvatore Tavano III (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Salvatore Tavano IV, Michael Tavano and Rose Cochrane (Aldo); his great grandchildren, Louise and Mabel Cochrane; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Clyde of Phenix City, AL, Joyce Walker (Jerome) of Montgomery, AL, Nicholas Porter (Michelle) of Ft. Myers, FL and Willie Porter of Opelika, AL. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
