He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Sal; his wife Margaret Galati Scaramellino; his children, Florence Snarr (Len) of Patterson, N. Y., Thomas Scaramellino (Patty) of Palm Springs, C. A., Lisa Ludington (George) of Aiken, S. C, Gina DiPaterio (Paul) of Cortlandt Manor, N. Y. and Anthony Scaramellino (Liliane) of Cortlandt Manor, N. Y.; his parents, Raffaella Scaramellino and Agnello "Joe" Scaramellino; and his siblings, Anthony, Francis Scaramellino, Michael Scaramellino, Louise Emery and Helen Christian. He was also cherished by his five children, he is survived by twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to the American Heart Association.
