He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Platt, Jr. and Edna Joyce Platt; and his brother Kenneth Platt (Kenny). He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret (C. R.), Nancy Talleyrand (Charles) of Cambria Heights, NY, Joan O'Reilly (Joseph) of Northport, NY and Christine Platt of Manchester, NJ.. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, and ten great-nieces and nephews.
