Richard M. Cunningham Obituary

The memory of Richard M. Cunningham of Peekskill, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 60, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard Cunningham. He is survived by: his mother Mary Cunningham; his children, Christopher (Andalee), Kate (Nicholas Shields) and Bridget Cunningham; and his siblings, Colleen DeCicco (Daniel), Brian Cunningham and Christopher Cunningham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. ~ Van Wyck Room (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (602 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
