She was predeceased by: her father William Buhs; her sons, David and Ron; her grandchildren, Sean and Jessica Gale; and her brothers, Albert, Jack (Ann) and William Buhs.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Gale (Dorothy), Karen Petersen (Tim), Bob Gale (Jeannine), John Gale (Diane) and Mary Young (Tim); and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Christie, Andrea, Daniel, Nicholas, Vincent, Michael and Sarah. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
