With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Clare Hollo (Peekskill, New York), who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Josephine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz and Maria; and her child Hannes. She is survived by: her brother Gerhard Wirkus of Pfullendorf, Germany; and her daughters, Tamsin Hollo of Newburgh, NY and Kaarina Hollo of Sheffield, UK.
