He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Santangelo and Joseph Santangelo. He is survived by: his brother Joseph Santangelo; his children, John Santangelo, Marianne Santangelo, Michael Santangelo (Kim Santangelo), Patricia O'Hara (Matthew O'Hara) and Elaine DellaPia (Jeremy DellaPia); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Dawson Santangelo, Julia, Madison O'Hara, Zachary, Brandon and Jake DellaPia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sloan Kettering Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
