It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Olsen of Peekskill, New York, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Merritt and Ole Olsen; his wife Bernadette Gillis; and his son Michael Patrick Olsen. He is survived by: his sister Madeline Olsen of Grand Prairie, Texas; his children, Christine Mendello (Robert), Jean Dwyer (Kevin), James Olsen, Jr. (Terese), Bernadette Daniels (Bryan), Teresa Rivera (Ralph) and Carol Lively (Craig); his grandchildren, Sean Dwyer (Simone), Craig Dwyer, Kelly Mendello, Brian Dwyer, David Mendello (Meryl), James Olsen, Julia Olsen, Brianna Mtuke (Francis), Catherine Lively, Brett Rivera, John Lively, Olivia Olsen, Stephanie Luoma (James), Aaron Daniels and Jonathan Daniels; and his great grandchildren, Conor, Ava Dwyer, Julian Mendello, Lorelai, Jayden and Trenton Luoma.
