She is survived by: her husband James F. Ruf of New Hamburg, NY.; her children, James F. Ruf, Jr. (Antonia) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Diane Levitt (Richard) of New Hamburg, NY; her granddaughters, Devon Chartier, Hilary Lewin, Erin Kamys and Emily Levitt; and her friend Mirek Ciskowski. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Lutheran Care Center, 965 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
