He was predeceased by: his father Robin E. Spock. He is survived by: his wife Mindy Steinholz; his daughter Jamie; his brother Derek Spock (Marie Corkery); his nieces and nephews, Ronan, Kieran and Colum; his sister Pamela Wertz (Erik); his niece Anna; his nephew Luke; and also Jaclyn Vingan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg's memory may be made to The Trevor Project, the American Heart Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
