He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Lent. He is survived by: his children, Robert LaPointe (Amy), Anita Creem (Thomas Birch), Carole King-Gibson (Edward) and Christine LaPointe (David Leadbitter); and his friend Brenda McCraw. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
