We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Elizabeth C. Murphy of Peekskill, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Murphy (Harry); her children, Sarah Murphy and Brendan Murphy; her daughter-in-law Dana Ferine; her parents, Virginia Louis and Harry P. Colgan, Jr.; her siblings, Suzanne Shea, Harry Colgan III and Belinda Colgan; and her granddaughter Fiona Murphy. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In honor of Beth's love of hiking in the Hudson Valley, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Jolly Rovers, (https://jollyrovers.org) a Hudson Valley non-profit that builds and rehabilitates trails in many of Beth's favorite parks.
