With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Gazzola (Pearl River, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on January 24, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Gazzola; her parents, Janie Sigmund and John Sigmund; and her sisters, Kate Sigmund Ryan of Omaha and Martha Sigmund Barclift of Keokuk.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer (Jay Flaherty), Alison (Dan Holmes) and Ruth; her grandchildren, Kyle, Sean and Brendan Flaherty; and her children, Emily, Kate Holmes, Justine and John Nicholas Gazzola (Gina Leo).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Margaret of Antioch Church (115 W Central Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965).
