She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Cintron and Modesta Cintron; her husband Eugene Austin; and her brothers, Miguel and Raymond "Willie".

She is survived by: her daughter Samantha; her son-in-law Mark; her son Anthony; her daughter-in-law Diana; her grandchildren, Haven, Celeste, Anthony Jr., Oliver and Madeleine; and her sister Ernestina "Tina". She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
