We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, Richard T Gurniak of Pearl River, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Theresa. He is survived by: his close friend Allison; and his siblings, James, Stephen (Stacey), Susan McKeon (John) and Janet. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, and large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.ORG) or Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).
