He was predeceased by: his sisters, Teresa Ronan (Pierce) and Angela Macken (Paddy). He is survived by: his children, Michael Prunty (Ellen Doonan), Michelle (Michael) and Kevin (Carrie); his grandchildren, Madison, Michael and Max Prunty; his children, Colin, Fiona, Brendan, Mariah, Deirdre Delaney, Chase, Rhys and Cole Prunty; his siblings, Mary (Gabriel Armstrong), Bernadette, John (Liz) and Joe (Kathleen); and his siblings-in-law, Bridie Lane (Mike), Patricia Kenny, Denis Kenny (Sheila), John Kenny (Rose) and Mickey Kenny (Bridie).

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aedan R. C. Church (23 Reld Dr, Pearl River, NY 10965).
