He is survived by: his wife Eileen (Fitzgerald); his children, Eileen McGoldrick (Kevin), Marie (Marco Donnini), Steve (Connie) and Kieran (Brennan); his grandchildren, Brian (Emily), Katilin, Michael (Julia), Samantha (Brandon), Logan, Peyton, Taylen, Norah and Henry; his great grandchildren, Harper and Lily; his sisters, Matilda Burke and Mary McCarthy; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Frawley and Mary Yoder.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael's name to Doctors Without Borders.
