She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Ortiz and Javiera Ortiz; her husband Mario Peter; her grandson Rio; and her sister Delia McDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Tamara (Anthony Alfieri), CaraSue (Rick Sparks), Jodi (Michael Boland) and Robert Tate; her grandchildren, Risa, Alannah, Meredith, Sarah (Rob) and Michael Jr.; her great grandchildren, Robby and Franklin; her sister Carmen; and also Donna.
