With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Sidney Katz of Pearl River, New York, born in Saint Albans, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Bruce, Mark, Robert and Ruth; his brother Stanley; and his parents, Max Katz and Ida Katz. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

Donations in his honor can be made to the Rabbi Scheff Discretionary Fund at Orangetown Jewish Center.
