He was predeceased by: his wife Louise; and his son Joseph. He is survived by: his children, James, Tina and Michael; and his grandchildren, Louisa and Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers the family would request donations in his name to the Joseph Raso Hospice House, 415 Buena Vista Rd in New City NY 10956 or the Rockland County Veterans Association, 20 Squadron Blvd, New City NY, 10956.
