He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schlag and Loretta Schlag; and his wife Eileen Lekow (C. Church). He is survived by: his children, Jim (Theresa) and Tara Caulfield (Timothy); his grandchildren, Robert, Charlotte, Mariel, James, Ryan Caulfield, Jimmy, Luke and Jillian Schlag; and his cousin Jimmy Formont (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. (100 Franklin Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Aedan R. C. Church (23 Reld Dr, Pearl River, NY 10965). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the St. Anthony Cemetery (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954).
