Though Doris Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cochrane and Mary Cochrane; her husband Myles Kilcarr; her siblings, Robert Cochrane and Marion Pomeroy; and her grandson Timothy Kilcarr (TJ).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fredrickson (Dennis), Jane Stokes (Kevin) and Robert Kilcarr (Sharon); and her niece Deborah Pomeroy Azzarone. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mary Rest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
