He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Flotard and Mae Flotard (Schweikart); his niece Melinda Eshbach; his children, Jonathan and Ryan; his nephew Peter Kopac (Julie); his siblings, Elizabeth (Kopac), Nancy (Margotta) and Ronald; his brother-in-law Peter Kopac; his nephew Donald Kopac; and also, Justin Kopac and Rebecca Wheeler. He was also cherished by her children and grandchildren, whom he made sure were always cared for after Elizabeth's husband.
Donations may be made in Donald's name to the Old Tappan Fire Co. #1, Orangeburg Fire District or the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
