He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Bridget (Reilly); his siblings, Mary (Fox), Rose (Majorino), Bridie (Halton), Seamus, Joe, Harry and Patrick; and his cousin Luke Smyth (Eileen).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (McCann); his daughters, Bridget (Craig Bottrill), Eileen Smith (Mike Mitchell) and Theresa (Randy Pinto); and his grandchildren, Colin, Kevin, Declan, Brendan, Niamh and Owen. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law; and dozens of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
