He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcella Sheridan McGrath and Callistus Patrick McGrath; his spouse Sigrid Evalyn Kubik; his grandchildren, Erin Empie (Seth), Thomas McGrath (Caroline), Reid McGrath (Elaina), Hannah Palmer (Eric), Liam McGrath, Carly McGrath, Maddie McGrath, Grace McGrath, David McGrath, Henry McGrath and Samantha Lape; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Mckenzie, Blake, Eliza Empie, Elaine, Jude, Mabel McGrath, Caelem, Cassidy McGrath and Maverick Palmer; his siblings, Elizabeth Grogan (late Louis), Catherine Roberts (Peter), John McGrath and Rosemary; his brother-in-law Bill Irwin; his goddaughter Marcy McGrath Laramay; and his friends, Art and Rita Smith. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
