She was predeceased by: her parents, Haywood Banks and Ethel Banks (Reid). She is survived by: her husband Reginald Ward; her sons, Bradford of Pawling and Evan of Pawling; her brother Bruce Banks of New Jersey; and her pet Marcus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
