With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lionel Norman Hartwell Sr. of Pawling, New York, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Duane Hartwell; his wife Diana Hartwell of Pawling, NY; his grandparents, Norman and Glen Hartwell; and his siblings, Diane, Denise Hartwell and Mitch Hartwell.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Hartwell (Paquin); his sons, Dwayne Hartwell and Lionel Jr. (Jaslin); his siblings, Robert Hartwell (Donna), Jared Hartwell, Jonathan Hartwell (Debra), Maryann Friend (Glen), Bridget Murphy and Toni Lapoint; his grandchildren, Keyshla, Shaheem, Angelica, Lionel III, Aria, Aaliyah and Liam; and his in-laws, Susan Clark, Brian and Kerry Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Horn & Thomes, INC Funeral Home (83 E Main St, Pawling, NY 12564). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Memory of Lionel be made to the American Cancer Society.
