It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Marie Starr of Pawling, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clappi and Mary Clappi (Fortunato); her husband Daniel Starr; her brother John; her sister-in-law Jane Clappi; her niece Elizabeth Caraccia; and her close friend Ed Rubin.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Patricia), Marybeth of Carson City, NV, Brian of Milford, CT, Christopher (Rosemarie) and Paul (Roberta) of Labelle, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lady Queen of Peace Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
