She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chauncey Lewis and Jewel Lewis (Tadlock); her husband Richard John Stauch; her daughter Gay Safford; her siblings, Helen Reeder of San Antonio, TX and Dennis Lewis of Kerrville, TX; her grandson Paul Safford; and her granddaughters-in-law, Tracy Stano of Austin, TX, Laura Safford (Eric Greenwell) of Lynnwood, WA and Kristen Safford of Norfolk, VA. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
