David Patrick Bales Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Patrick Bales of Pawling, New York, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David Patrick shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David Patrick farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Bales and Margaret Bales (Greene); his son David M. Bales of Pawling, NY; and his sister Margaret Skense of Chapel Hill, NC. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horn & Thomes, INC Funeral Home (83 E Main St, Pawling, NY 12564). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pawling Cemetery (625 NY-22, Pawling, NY 12564).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in memory of David to Sons of the American Legion, c/o Sgt. Ronald Grey American Legion Post 1542, 1027 Route 311, Patterson, NY 12563.
