She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Newton and June Weller Newton; and her grandchild Jesse Moore. She is survived by: her husband Douglas McVean; her children, Kimberly Moore (Steve), Rodney Smith (Julie) and Jennifer Smith; her grandchildren, Nicole Dell (Jamie), Steve Moore (Stephanie Draper), Jordan Smith, Mitchell Swede and Ashly Swede; and her siblings, Gary Newton, Sandy Schlecht (Walt) and Diane Newton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
