He was predeceased by: his parent Santa Martinez; his wife Bertha Jane Post Martinez; his children, William Veihdeffer and Martha Knouse-Sherlock; and his brothers, Anthony, Steven, Miguel and Herman.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Veihdeffer of Warsaw and Georgia Murphy of Pavilion; his daughter-in-law Donna Veihdeffer; his sister Suzie; and his siblings-in-law, Ray and Donna Post. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
