It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Conklin of Patchogue, New York, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Conklin, Sr.; her close friend James N. Hodder; her daughter-in-law Lisa M. Conklin (Falco); her parents, Othellia H. "Tillie" Bogenrieder (Kurrass) and George F. Bogenrieder; and her sisters, Eunice F. Meyer (Herbert), Anna L. Vickers (Lloyd) and Gladys M. Bogenrieder.
She is survived by: her children, Richard J. Conklin (Laurajean), Robert A. Conklin (Elizabeth), Linda J. Bergman (Christopher) and James B. Conklin, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kristen L. Garvin (Greg), Tara C. Anskat (Paul), Meaghan E. Cruz (Brian), Christopher J. Bergman, Daniel R. Conklin, Erin E. Aughtman (Steven), Colleen E. Conklin, James B. Conklin, III (Leah), Justin A. Conklin, Ryan R. Conklin, Alyssa N. Bergman and Alex W. Bergman; and her great grandchildren, Margaret L. Garvin, Charles F. Garvin, Amelia D. "Millie" Cruz, Sadie R. Cruz and Samuel E. Anskat.
