It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Cargill I of Parksville, New York, born in Oneonta, New York, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William D. Cargill and Hazel Newell Cargill; his son Wayne D. Cargill, II; his brother Roger Cargill; and his stepfather Douglas Sullivan.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Decker Cargill; his children, Bill Cargill (Kathy) of North Carolina and Alicia Paul (Bryan) of Bermuda; his daughter-in-law Gloria Cargill; his grandchildren, Wayne, III, Barry, Byron, Bill, Shaun, Cody, Cameron, CJ and Ariana; and his great grandchildren, Emily and Harper.

Memorial contributions in Wayne's name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550.
