Sandra J. Robar Obituary
Parishville – Sandra J. Robar, 74, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday morning, October 19, 2017, with her family at her side. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Following her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Sandra was born on March 24, 1943 in Potsdam, daughter of the late Wayne H. and Ruth (Simonds) Richardson.
She graduated from Parishville-Hopkinton High School. A marriage to Ronald Robar ended in divorce. Sandra was a cook at Parishville-Hopkinton High School for over 20 years. She found a loving companionship with Vaughn H. Ashlaw until his passing on December 11, 1992. Sandra was a past member of the Parishville-Hopkinton Fire Department Auxiliary for many years.
She is survived by her three children, Paul Robar, Roxanne Robar and Steven Ashlaw, of Parishville, her sister, Mary and her husband, Gary Patraw of Greenwood Lake, three grandchildren, Devon Ashlaw, Damon Ashlaw and Zachary Robar.
