We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2019, at the age of 71, John Genaway (Parishville, New York), born in Malone, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Genaway and Nellie Genaway (Ryan); and his granddaughter Rebecca Genaway. He is survived by: his stepfather James Nelson; his wife Beverly; his children, Julie Genaway of Baldwinsville, John Genaway of Vermont, Joe Genaway of North Lawrence, David Phillips of Hannawa Falls, Dawn, Steve Ashlaw of Parishville and Joshua Barrett of Massena; his brother Willard Genaway of Japan; his aunt Geraldine Ryan Perry of Malone; his mother-in-law Joan Phillips of North Bangor; and his pet Pita. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or Parishville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
