He was predeceased by: his father Paul Gerstner. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Matzan; and his siblings, Michael, Andrew Gerstner, Michelle Boots (John), Corry Ward (Jim), Cathleen Pryse (Evan) and Crystal Northrop (Richard). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
