Marion Popp Obituary

In loving memory of Marion Popp of Parish, New York, who departed this world on May 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Marion leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewin Manning and Inez Manning Kranz; her husband Richard Lewis Popp; her brother Wilbur Manning of Parish; and her daughter LewAnn Popp Beardslee.

She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Newton (Loren) of Cleveland, NY; her son-in-law Bill Beardslee of Hendersonville, TN; her sisters-in-law, Kathryn Manning, Karen Popp, Joan Popp and Sherry Prosser (Rob); and her children, David Popp (Joe Csira) of Wilmington and Lori Behling (Eric) of Mexico, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She also served on various committees as a member of the Parish United Methodist Church and was active with Friends of the Library, volunteering until Covid and a broken hip forced her to stop.

Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Parish United Methodist Church or the Parish Public Library.
