He is survived by: his wife Cindy Cheevers; his stepchild Casey Cheevers (Becky Bush); his daughters, Nicole Brockett (James Brockett Jr.) and Michelle Mura-Ruszkowski (Michael Ruszkowski); his granddaughter Jenna Brockett (Dylan Leigh-Manuell); and his siblings, Richard Cheevers (Nancy) and Donna Husted (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
