He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Cailkins and Almida Cailkins; his wife Deborah Calkins; and his brothers, Edward Calkins, Robert Calkins and Kenneth Calkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Earl Calkins, Jr. of Florida and Rodney Calkins of Baldwinsville; and his brothers, Stanley Calkins of North Carolina, David Calkins of Baldwinsville and Lloyd Calkins of Florida. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
