We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 100, Florence Jane (Townsend) Coffey in Panama, New York, born in Melrose, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Merle Townsend and Elma Townsend (Brown); her husband William "Bill" Nelson Coffey; and her brother Theodore Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jane Coffey, MD (Richard Skodnek, MD), Kittie Coffey Bintz of Ballston Spa, NY and Richard G. Coffey (Cristina Coffey) of South Glastonbury, CT; her grandchildren, Briannan Bintz, Taryn Bintz Burt (Andrew Burt), Caitlyn Bintz (Geoffrey Ashton) and Gregory William Coffey; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Brenna Burt and William Ashton; her niece Susan Townsend Fendrock; and her nephew John Townsend (Lourdes).
