Elinor M. Sturges Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 95, Elinor M. Sturges of Panama, New York, born in Union City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen McEntarfer and Ida McEntarfer; her husband Stanley Sturges; her siblings, Richard, Eileen and Francis; and her grandson Tom Sturges.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Sturges (Cindy) of Panama, NY, Linda Schmalfuss (Bill) of Rochester, NY and Kirk Sturges (Bill Stroud) of Arlington, VA; her grandchildren, Darcy Lyon (Joe), Tim Sturges (Chrissy), Matt Schmalfuss (Amy), Melissa Beale (Richard) and Rachele Jones (Tyronne); and her sister Alice Pierce. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Panama Volunteer Fire Department.
