He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert Champlin, Clara Ernst, Leah Champlin and Shirley Smith; and his parents, William Champlin and Gladys Champlin (Proper).
He is survived by: his wife Luella Champlin (Wahl); his brother John Champlin (Linda); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Wahl (Maxine) and Roger Wahl (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
