He is survived by: his wife Gail Ruliffson; his sons, Wayne (Claire) and Barry Ruliffson; his grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley), Morgan and Ian Ruliffson; and his siblings, James Ruliffson (Mary Pat) and Shelly Simmons (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
