She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bennett and Beulah Bennett; her husband Richard Bowen; and her stepson Phillip Bowen. She is survived by: her daughter Anita Kern; her stepson Dean Bowen; her granddaughter Johanna Kern; and her great grandchildren, Nathan and Ivy Palmer. She is also survived by many cousins and honorary grandchildren.
