We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, at the age of 85, Shirley J. Wentz of Palmyra, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Shirley find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swartzbaugh and Iva Swartzbaugh; and her brother Paul Swartzbaugh. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Haines and Betty Schultz; her grandchildren, AJ Schultz and Tracie Henning; and her great grandchild Drake Henning.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Towpath Manor Apartments (Community Room) (200 Canal St, Palmyra, NY 14522).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Shirley may be directed to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489.
