He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul McCarthy and Gertrude Callahan McCarthy; his wife Nancy; his son Christopher R. McCarthy of Palmyra; his brothers, Paul McCarthy (Lucy) of Fairbanks, AK and Kevin McCarthy (Susan) of Rochester; and his siblings-in-law, Lynne Morley of Pittsford and James Morley (Jeannie) of Dillwyn, VA.
