He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick K Leutung and Donna C Curtis; his son Nicholas Leutung; his granddaughter Roslyn Leutung; his sisters, Pam Ellis (Tim), Patty Leutung (Mike) and Karen Roser (Kurt); and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Morrell (Andy), Jeffrey Ellis and Hannah Roser.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in his memory.
