He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Eskild and Margret Eskild. He is survived by: his siblings, Amy Eskild (Joe Nardo) and Theodore E Eskild; and his niece Sarah Nardo.

Kirk was unvaccinated and died of COVID complications.
