It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine T. Spanganberg of Palmyra, New York, born in Hartford, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Josephine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoinette Toce and Rocco Toce; her former husband Paul I. Cherry, Jr.; and her husband Gerald E. Spanganberg, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Marie Ivaskewitz (Cherry); and her stepchildren, Sandy Bastian (Spanganberg), Jerry Spanganberg and Bobby Spanganberg. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
